Job Description Requirements:  SpaceBound is seeking a full-time experienced Customer Support Rep that handles direct support to our customers, manufacturers, and distribution centers via e-mail, telephone, and chat, which does not involve face-to-face interaction.  As provided in detail below, the daily responsibilities vary throughout the day to include product returns, cancelations, claims, refunds, disputes, tracking shipments, taking telephone calls, updating various reports, etc.

The Customer Support Rep must have a professional demeanor, above average phone skills, and the ability to multi-task while speaking to the customer, manufacturer, and distribution centers, which may include composing an e-mail, updating the customer database, processing the customer return, tracking the shipment, accessing various Web sites for requested information, etc.

This position requires exceptional communication skills verbally and written, strong attention to detail, and highly effective organizational skills. In addition, the support rep must be self-motivated, able to follow instructions as they are given or written, and a team player who can work with all levels within the Company organization along with a great attitude.

This position is not a job for someone who does not enjoy speaking with customers, is unable to multi-task, or unable to adapt to an ever changing environment. The job responsibilities include knowledge of computers, technologies, and Internet experience, but please note that the support rep is not an IT position.

Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provides Direct Support via E-mail, Telephone, and Chat with Customers, Manufacturers, and Distribution Centers without Face-to-Face Interaction
• Product Returns
• Order Cancelations
• Tracking Requests
• Damaged / Lost Claims
• Refunds / Replacements
• Payment Disputes
• Customer Assistance with Product Features and Functionality
• Daily Logs
• Reports
• Internet Searches
• Handling Incoming Telephone Calls
• Provides Back-up Coverage for Customer Service


         • Required Computer Skills:  Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
         • Required Internet Skills – Ability to Navigate to Various Web Sites and Online Market Places, Product Searches, Obtain Manufacturer Information, Tracking Information, etc.
         • Typing Skills: 45 wpm minimum by dictation
         • Experience:  Minimum 3 Years

Salary:  Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and Midwest region salaries and cost of living scale. Work Status:  Full-Time / Salaried Position
