Position:   .NET Web & Application Developer

Location:  35 miles from Cleveland and 30 miles or less from the following locations:  Amherst, Avon, Avon Lake, Bay Village, Berea, Broadview Heights, Brook Park, Brunswick, Columbia Station, Elyria, Lakewood, Lorain, Medina, Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, North Royalton, Oberlin, Parma, Parma Heights, Spencer, Strongsville, Vermilion, and Westlake

Work Status:   Full-Time / Salaried Position

Relocation Budget:   Negotiable

Travel Requirements:  Minimal (Training, Conferences, Seminars)

Job Description/Responsibilities:   Cleveland, Ohio Area / E-Commerce software and electronics Company is seeking a full-time .NET Web & Application Developer to join our growing team.  Candidates must have prior .Net programming knowledge and experience.  A minimum of four (4) years working experience is required for this position.

Individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining C# based ASP.Net MVC and Web Forms websites, Windows Forms applications, console applications, and web services.  Some experience with VB.Net is preferred to support and possibly convert legacy applications from VB .Net to C# .Net.

Candidates must be creative and able to lead certain project development initiatives, focusing on new technologies that promote the company's overall e-commerce presence.  Duties may include gathering requirements from team members of varying technical levels, creation of project documentation (including time estimates), and working with the Software Architect to formulate the overall architecture of new projects.

Based upon performance and overall contribution to the success of the company, this position offers increased levels of responsibility. Required Skills:

•  Mid-to-senior level programming experience with C# .Net
•  Experience with ASP.Net MVC 2+ (classic and Razor syntax) and Web Forms website development
•  Experience developing Windows Forms ClickOnce applications, console applications, and web services
•  Familiarity utilizing ADO.Net and LINQ-to-SQL for data access layer
•  Strong SQL Server related skills including writing optimized T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, data normalization, and triggers
•  Understanding of VB .Net to support and convert legacy applications to C# .Net
•  Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
•  Experience utilizing Javascript and jQuery selectors and plugin implementation
•  Experience with custom integrations including SDKs, SOAP and REST web services, etc

Preferred Skills (not required):

•  Familiarity with .NET domain modeling and O/R mapping frameworks (such as Mindscape Lightspeed
•  Entity Framework experience
•  Advanced HTML/CSS development (responsive design/mobile first concepts)
•  Experience configuring/optimizing Solr index repositories
•  Creation and manipulation of SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services reports

Salary:  This is a full-time salaried position. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and Midwest region salaries and cost of living scale.  On average, this position requires a 9 AM to 6 PM commitment.   Please submit negotiable salary requirements (required) when forwarding resume and skill set page.  SpaceBound will not eliminate a candidate based on suggested salary range.
